The entire socdem left of the US was happy to turn a blind eye to Platner’s blatant Nazism. they fought viciously online to accuse anyone exposing his past as a US terrorist, blackwater mercenary, and Abu Ghraib guard of being AIPAC or anti-left.

They ignored his platform where he said he wants to build a stronger US military, and interviews where he revealed his issue with his time in the military wasn’t the atrocities being committed, but the mismanagement of the military.

The man with a Nazi tattoo, the man who proudly wore blackwater merch to piss off the libs, the man who proudly stated he wished he could’ve fought in the Vietnam war or the genocidal wars against the people of Turtle Island.

But now that it comes out that he hurt an American woman, his campaign may be coming to an end. I don’t want to diminish sexual assault on anyone, but the fact that the line is only drawn when it is directly impacting a white American is evidence of the propensity of the American “left” for National Socialism.

Graham Platner will not be the last Nazi run framed as an American-first progressive. The fact that he made it this far with so many obvious scandals and marks against him can only serve to embolden the bourgeois handlers behind the scenes.
