    I’ve wondered if people who grew up when digital clocks were more common don’t visualize time the way I do. “40 minutes later” is something that I see as an angle on a clock face.

      They do, when I was in school one of the common screening tests to tell if a patient is mentally coherent used to be visualizing time on a clock face. They had to change it about 10 years ago because a lot of people don’t visualize time that way anymore.
