Nice assumption of me being Christian.

The cross symbolizes the sacrifice. Nobody celebrates his death, it is only the fact that he saved humanity with his sacrifice that gets celebrated, and the cross symbolizes this sacrifice.

The cross is a constant reminder of what Jesus went through to save you. The only feeling it is meant to evoke is thankfulness to Jesus and a reminder of how much suffering he saved you from.

I’m just trying to explain what christians believe, because it is getting misrepresented here, causing distorted views on christianity.

Thats what they taught you. Its still insane to use the symbol of torture as the symbol of a religion. It shows exactly the values this religion espouses: violence, torture, and death. Saying it’s a “constant reminder” is exactly what the institution wants; you remember that if you don’t do what we say, you’re gonna be tortured even after death.

Lol username trying so hard to check out.

We get it, you don’t like it, you don’t understand it. You think it’s stupid. If you genuinely don’t want to understand it, that’s fine, but hate-mongering over it is really lame.

Yes, many believers also hate all the stupid bad things done in the name of various religions, just like you do. But this absolutist “faith in anything bad” take is so tiresome, especially coming from a place of angry ignorance.

Grass. Please go touch. Much love. <3

Not at all what it is portraying. I don’t even understand how you get to that conclusion.

It were the priests that didn’t believe Jesus was telling the truth that killed him. Humanity killed him. Not God.

I already mentioned multiple times that the assumption that I’m christian is presumptuous.
