How did you even get that conclusion from my post? Like I said and maybe you missed it in my first comment… But he’s “Linux choices and info could defiantly be improved”
I don’t think steam OS is a great choice for a general use desktop. Far from it actually. I don’t even use many of the hyped distros my self. Mainly staying on opensue,alpine and some others for my stuff.
Still saying “Linux” and mentioning KDE being viable for desktop use is a good thing.
I’m happy for linus to send his zombies to distro’s (other than what I use), but they will just annoy people on forums etc, and blame linux after they use ai to f*ck it all up. You can only watch trashtubers for so long without clearly being trash yourself.
We all start somewhere, and internet searches push people towards the biggest/trashiest channels, but anyone who is genuinely interested in tech, and wants it to improve in meaningful ways, will soon move on from linus et al.
No doubt KDE appreciates the shout out for being “viable” …
