    We do this for screwworms, but for some reason malaria and zika are A-Ok to let spread.

      We did this for screwworms. Trump and fElon ended that program. We now have screwworm infections in California

        Dunno. With mosquitoes, there are only a couple of species that bite humans. Eliminating those leaves plenty of other kinds of mosquitoes for birds and bats and other animals to eat. With ticks it might upset the ecosystem if it’s not the same scenario.

        There was at one time a vaccine for Lyme disease, but it’s no longer manufactured. More are being worked on.
