Villain was cool. Didn’t see her coming, even after the point where it was probably obvious.
Some things were a little tough to suspend disbelief on. Peter really didn’t try to befriend his old buddies all those years, even when he was in their apartment and saw Ned was Spider-Man obsessed? Jean going out of her way to target and mock Spider-Man was weird. And then just instantly being cool with him after the climax. That, and her randomly being able to possess Bruce but not Peter.
Surprised they didn’t have Jean hop out the moment Spidey attacked MJ. He was holding her by the throat over a ledge, imagine if she snapped back to herself right then. Seemed like a perfect setup for drama, to make her afraid of him. But also kinda glad they didn’t go that route. Also kinda glad his friends weren’t overly resistant to believing him.
I don’t keep up with all the things, so not sure if Punisher (and his background) got introduced already or assumed here. I only vaguely remember Black Widow getting replaced, even tho I saw that movie. And Damage Control? Also seemed like they assumed I knew what that was.
