Every time I use it now I usually get into trolly arguments with others. It’s just not a happy place anymore. “Reddiquite” (spelling) died a long time ago.
The biggest issue I have is the big “subreddit” gatekeeping. Realistically at this point, every major “subreddit” is purely controlled by the core corporation. There is not decentralization of Reddit at all, and all the “mods” are just working for free pretending like they’re in control because they can do some things. The smartest thing Reddit did is make “mods” feel like they have some control.
