I use Debian at work, and need to do 3-5x the amount of troubleshooting than I need to do on my private Arch box. And I’m not doing anything crazy on either. I would even argue my work use cases are less crazy.
I also don’t think it’s about the release model. I think the biggest differentiator is that Arch focuses on KISS, and stuff just keeps working.
