The reason I think they’re an Apple user though, is that Apple users also defend BSD (since, the MacOS core was essentially unix based), and the culture changed a bit to look down on windows less when the intel macs were released with Windows.
I used to sell gear, and a lot of Apple people tend to just like to attack linux in my experience
The funny thing is that they say “linux doesn’t run any games”, but, MacOS has always sucked at games
