I’m a member of the EFF, and its activities are great, but understandably have slightly more focus on USA-related matters. I say “but” just because I don’t live in the USA.

Are there similar foundations that operate and focus/prioritize more on an international level? I don’t manage to find any, but probably I’m doing the wrong kind of search.

      Yeah, I think a truly international org would be very inefficient. There are so many relevant differences between countries, it makes more sense to have local orgs that also do a bit of supranational lobbying (which both the CCC and EFF do).

        Well not really. They could at least promote these concepts. And it could work as an organizing force for local groups.

        Just look at how effective the Climate Emergency Fund is a funding and training the various local groups like Just Stop Oil or Extinction Rebellion.
