Also the feeling that violence is universal and endless, the comforting thought that far more advanced species have the same bloodthirsty mentality and need to destoy because they didn’t want to address the possibility that militaryism would be regarded as a barbarous relic of uncivilised times.
Exactly if Advanced aliens exist they will see as not worth contacting because we are still bunch fucking apes who haven’t evolved pass our lizard brains.
Or just like… you know… a big scary robot meant to entertain children in a comic book.
