XPL-EX can do that and much more. Needs root though

I guess you’re using Nvidia if you’re having problems with Wayland? Maybe try running nvidia-settings as root, adjust your desktop resolution, refresh rate and settings there. Than save it to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nvidia.conf
Install Video DownloadHelper for Firefox. Open whatever you want to watch and copy it’s url from Video DownloadHelper. Now, either open that url in mpv (might require yt-dlp) or download it (I’d also recommend yt-dlp for this, since DownloadHelper sometimes embeds watermarks) and watch wherever
Not bad, although this only seems to affect VLC and not a specific video decoder
From a movie?
Lmao. Show me an exploit that allows you to run arbitrary code from encoded video files, then we’ll talk
Just update paru from source (exactly like the first time that you installed it)
Imagine needing a thumb drive to install Linux
May I introduce my lord and saviour isodrive to you? (TLDR: Allows rooted phones to mount image files, which can be used like a normal usb can)
ReVanced if you want the original Youtube app
Otherwise there are dozens of apps which don’t show ads, just look arround F-Droid
SmartTubeNext for AndroidTV
The Ars article seems to suggest that they were able to crack his phones pretty easily
Android uses data at rest encryption, which isn’t really useful without a lockscreen PIN/password since data gets decrypted after you unlock your screen the first time after each boot
Although it doesn’t appear he was actually using any encryption apps to store material; rather, he used a fake calculator app as password protection. Obviously not the brightest bulb in the drawer.
Agreed, he probably felt safe enough “hiding” the files. Definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed, which is great because fuck this guy

Or use a RAM disk with something like Profile sync daemon
Welcome to Linux my guy. You can fix basically anything here without ever having to reinstall
Also you should reinstall all those packages your removal of udev uninstalled, otherwise some things might not work as they should/not work at all
Lmao, shouldn’t be hard to guess what Facebook updated though
A patch that might or might not fix whatever its changelog tells you it did. It also introduces new bugs
Roblox was broken on Deck and linux by the addition of a new anti-cheat
Afaik, it wasn’t broken. The Roblox devs put in extra work to block Linux users from playing because according to them “the majority of cheaters are on Linux”. Who knows if that’s true
I’m ootl, mind explainig?
Sadly not, Cheat Engine has a whole lot more features. PINCE is still very good though
That’s exactly what my setup does. But like I said, this could in theory lead to you being more trackable
Thanks :)
BCR needs root but works on most roms
