Kingdom Two Crowns
Finished the main game (with Dead Lands theme) with my wife and now we are trying out challenge mode. Thinking about buy the Olympus dlc.
I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m here now…

Ita between the Dreamcast and GameCube for me. Especially all the coloured shells for the DC that look great.
Small shout to the Xbox One S with the vertical stand for looking slick too.
Gran Turismo 2 Plus
I also like stuff which keeps it mostly true to the original and GT2+ is unofficial patches + cut content added back + some new.
Wait… what year is it?
Playing what you had, good or bad, is how it was back then. Everyone has that game which is terrible to most but we love because it’s what we had available.
How’s Gears of War? It’s on my wishlist, planning to start Halo MC collection soon, but want to play Gears of Wars games after that.
It holds up very well and GoW2 is one of the games that gets a fps & resolution boost for backwards compatibility so actually looks really good to.
I’ve been watching and helping my daughter play through Kingdom Two Crowns (on peaceful mode) and once she feels ready we will try co-op on normal difficulty.
I’ve been playing through Gears of War 2 on the Xbox and it’s been great fun. Haven’t played it since original release and didn’t go any further so after I’m done it’s on to GoW3 and maybe more.
Plex is good and the Plexamp app for music is excellent.
F-Zero GP Legend Tekken 3
It’s a tough one. The list could be endless!
It’s probably 95% digital now for me.
I tend to buy 1st party Nintendo games in physical form still but because of more PC gaming and having Xbox Gamepass for that last couple years I’ve moved mostly to digital.
Definitely underrated and also failed so hard. Will always be my favourite though.
Very different games but I would say Gran Turismo is better.
I do like Rage Racer more than both of these though.
Spending hours online either on Phantasy Star Online or in the Dreamarena chat rooms.
Getting Shenmue and Shenmue II on launch days was a special time.
It’s been a few years but I remember some unofficial patches that improved the game for modern times.
Actually looks like a nice bit of kit but not for £20.
Biggest for me would be going online with the Dreamcast. At home I was online with the DC before we had a PC so used it quite a lot.
I probably spent to much time on Dreamarena chat rooms and playing PSO with randoms.
Thanks for this.
Too soon…
What makes me happy though is the Dreamcast is still going strong today with fan translations, indie games (and more) and online play.
Sega was their own worst enemy
Arguably they still are today. Can’t stop being a fan though!
Maybe around the 20 hour mark. It was quite quick to progress at the start but slows down a lot on the last 2 islands.
