That’s correct. I believe they’re working on a way to get notifications working through Heroic, but at this stage you need to check your GOG profile for achievement unlocks.

But the large corporations are handling that side of things already. If the lawsuit goes in the favour of copyright holders, AI companies would in theory have to do something to avoid using copyrighted material, or pay for the usage. Of course, there’s every chance that they may end up avoiding using copyrighted material from anyone big enough to fight back, and just profit off of the works of artists without the resources to stop them doing so.

You’re not wrong, but if they win against AI, all artists will benefit because of the precedent that it would set.

What I think will actually happen if this is looking to not go in the tech bros’ favour is that they’ll settle and make a potential deal with large copyright holders for ongoing usage, and that would screw individual artists.

Depends what she means by it. It’s completely normal for rewrites and reshoots to happen during the filmmaking process, simply because some stuff that works on paper just doesn’t translate that well on screen, and sometimes the actors do something on the fly that is better than what was in the script, but that triggers rewrites to accommodate the change.

If Marvel actually didn’t have a completed script before the initial shooting began, that would be potentially worrying, but highly unusual.

This is useful for countries where the Steam Deck is unavailable but other handhelds aren’t. Here in Australia, Steam Decks are only available as grey imports, and that makes warranty issues a potential headache, but you can walk into most electronic retailers and buy a ROG Ally off the shelf.

That said, I personally wouldn’t buy a handheld that didn’t have touchpads, so I bought a grey import and have had no issues.

I’m playing through New Vegas right now. I have one of the back buttons assigned to quicksave. I also changed the default camera button to one of the back buttons, because I don’t use it often enough to warrant it being on the bumpers. And I have just assigned one to toggle collision, because sometimes you need that when playing something built in the Gamebryo engine.

If it helps, there’s very little that carries over between the two games. Without any spoilers, you lose your gear at the start of the BG2, most of which doesn’t carry over anyway. You will start with the level you finished BG1 with, but BG2 boosts brand new characters to a certain level anyway. And I don’t think the games track decisions made throughout like modern RPGs do.

That said, I played it years before Beamdog released that interlude DLC, so maybe things have changed in their Enhanced releases of the games.

They’re still working on Daredevil though. They had to replace the showrunners because they were developing it as an episodic court drama rather than a Daredevil show to follow on from the Netflix series.
