Lenovo Yogas have treated me well for years now. They accept Linux pretty easily too
Jeep owner?
But on the positive side, someone is finally attacking the last obstacle to using our expensive hardware however we want to: device drivers. I’m hopeful.
Yeah that should be metal or at least thick PVC. I think I’d mix up some epoxy and paint it liberally on the broken parts with a Popsicle stick. And I’d epoxy over the green area and make that slope into the pipe. There’s no pressure here so you’re just trying to prevent leaks and direct gravity.

FF Dev is my favorite
Perhaps you can pull up a transition piece where this tile ends (a threshold or wooden transition maybe). That might show you/confirm the other layer that’s maybe below it.

Omg it’s so hard to fight dumb

A nice explanation of what’s wrong with web-based AI. I hope other content providers follow suit.
Check that the power brick is outputing the right voltage? Also, remove any component that you can and after each one try to start it. Sometimes a bad drive or memory dimm can keep everything from working.

I did this same move two years ago. Make a list of critical must have functions. Get a second storage drive like your current one, swap out the old and install Kubuntu. Get those critical apps installed and tested. Create a virtual machine out of your old primary drive. Boot that inside Linux when needed.
This is exactly what I did. Later I copied my old system to a VM and I boot it up inside Linux when needed.

Yeah she’s gotta go. Well, or she can forget your devices on her BT list every time after she uses them.
But it she forgets even just one time…she out the door.
Windows 10 decided to update a machine in a client’s office. The update took 4 hours and the employee could do zero during that time. A few weeks later a Win 10 machine at the same office crashed and would not start. I was left googling error codes from the BSOD. Nothing worked and I had to reinstall. I decided I needed to get my own work stack off of windows. I installed Kubuntu. 2 years later and I like KDE, I like the Debian base, I hate snap, but mostly I’m working and productive.
