Depending on your file structure, you could probably keep this running all the time so you don’t have to manually intervene in the future

rysnc might be a faster and more reliable option. It can compress the files for transfer and does checksums after the transfer is complete

I used something like this to transfer 12 TB from offsite to onsite with zero failures

With Docker you can set the Network and have some containers traffic egress on the vpn while others have no WAN or direct access. You can have a container join multiple networks to have the best of both worlds.

With VMs, you can set the network interface

With the OS, you might be able to set network interface for each service, but I don’t know how

Then the xArr apps are in the same virtual network as QB. They run without a VPN

For what it’s worth, I run a server without a GPU and I don’t have any issue with a single 4K stream.
