No, it’s just a coincidence. They wanted to stare lovingly at you before they realized you have a sandwich

Very true. I play what I like to call “brain candy” games. Nothing that requires too much thinking, as most of the day my brain is trying to run a marathon at a sprinting speed.
Yeah, Cozy Grove is on my switch. As you advance in the game, you unlock more map. More map means more NPC critters roaming around. I think I unlocked 8-9 bears before it got noticeable, but there are 17 in all and I don’t know if my switch can make it to that many.
I just started Ring Fit last week, as I found a good deal on an open box game. I’m still trying to get the leg sensor to register my movement correctly, but so far the levels are fun.
I’m very boring - most likely Animal Crossing and Ring Fit Adventure on switch and Slime Rancher 2 on xbox. Maybe do some stuff in my family’s Minecraft realm
Thinking about restarting Cozy Grove since I haven’t played it in so long, but I stopped because the lag got worse every time I got a new bear
Agreed. I should have been more clear, I was just trying to say the “findings” were a bunch of politician-speak that actually says nothing
“Based on the information available to me, it is my assessment that the IDF strike on the WCK aid workers was not knowingly or deliberately directed against the WCK.”
Maybe I’m just too jaded, but this statement bothers me. No, I also don’t think Israel woke up that day and said, “Let’s take out some World Central Kitchen today.” But what the world wants to know (more like wants confirmation of) is that Israel knowingly hit an aid convoy. And to me his statement doesn’t clear that up.
Edited to add the emphasis in the quote is mine
The US Fish & Wildlife Service has a feather atlas to help people ID North American birds.
It’s not perfect as they may only have feathers from one or two individuals, and like people birds of the same species aren’t all identical. But it’s still a good resource. Plus it has an Identify My Feather feature that’s fun and interesting to use.
That smile made me smile
I find the school’s claim to be a lazy cop-out. My child’s school is K-12, and I recently had to go through a whole paperwork process to give my 3rd grader permission to check out middle school level books.
From the original court filing: “Defendant would show that any injuries or illnesses alleged to have been sustained by Plaintiff, Mary Doe [the 9 year old girl], were proximately caused by Plaintiff’s own fault and negligence, were proximately caused by Plaintiff’s use of the compromised lavatory, which she knew or should have known contained a visible and illuminated recording device.”
American Airlines is passing the blame to their “outside legal counsel.”

Those eyes! I’d give her all the treats
Yep we definitely have nights where the dinner choices are cereal, oatmeal, or a pb&j
You’ve already gotten lots of excellent advice. The only thing I have to add is only get hangers if you’ll use them. I also have ADHD and for me it works best if laundry has the fewest steps possible. This means only hanging up my dressy clothes. For the rest I have open bins that I toss my clothes in.
I used to try and make myself hang all my clothes up because I thought that’s what I was supposed to do as an adult. And my clean clothes would just sit in a laundry basket next to where they should be hung up.
Here’s an adult secret (that took me until my 40s to learn): do what works for you. Especially in spaces that you don’t share with anyone else, if it works for you then you’re doing it right.
I almost spit out my tea when I read this
Such a great smile
For one week. And they can only be bought online.
