That was disproven several times - the guy who claimed it even admitted he’d altered Palworld’s assets to show that supposed ‘similarity’
Guy who finished a law degree for some reason. I didn’t mean to, it just kinda happened

Afraid that article is only true in the US and Canada - in Australia there’s no sign of Classic Doctor Who anywhere
Nah that makes sense mate. I’m afraid I no longer have reddit - nuked it went I moved here on principle, so we’ll just have to have a bit of patience. Have a good one in any case, I’ll chat with you when you can :)
Chucked it through mate, hopefully it’s working. My instance is Aussie.zone, so should’ve dodged the problem
Will do mate honestly, thanks so much!
Funny thing mate, I’m hoping to create a master collection precisely because I’m the kind of nerd who enjoys the reconstructions - huge fan of the audios and novels, so I absolutely think I’m goimg to follow your suggestions around starting points and go from there. Largely it’s not strictly for a “complete rewatch”, moreso it’s about wanting to be able to read/watch/listen to pretty much everything on my own terms
Indeed! Been buying Big Finish for years as well, so I’ve got a great collection of audios!
Very true, but I’m in the wrong country and VPNs are inconsistent at best with iplayer
FWIW mate, very familiar with the missing episodes - largely have copies of the remaining soundtracks. What I’m looking for is a way to watch everything else. iPlayer could be doable in any case, although I’m aware they have a habit of blocking VPNs, so I’d appreciate a method a little more foolproof
Definitely great news that they exist, what would you say my best bet for tracking them down is? Megathread is pretty quiet on this matter
Absolutely mate, although I’ve not had much luck with them having Doctor Who - most only have the modern show if they have Doctor Who at all. Do you have any recommendations?
Case and point, Dalek Caan, who accidentallied his way into the Time War
FWIW, there are two other Dalek groups with timeships in New Who;
In Series 5, the survivors of Series 4 had a working time ship, which the Paradigm Daleks used to escape. The Paradigm Daleks had access to at minimum a small fleet of time ships, which were used to trap the Doctor in The Pandorica Opens. The Paradigm Dalek subplot was then promptly abandoned, so we never got a sense of their force.
In Series 12, the executioner Daleks sent to deal with the fake Daleks had access to a time ship, as supported by the Doctor contacting them via the Time Vortex. They then used the Time Vortex to reach present-day Earth and were then promptly slaughtered by the Doctor with the spare TARDIS, so that time ship was left without pilots.
Please let this mean Disney+ will be getting it in the rest of the world - there’s no legal way to watch Classic Who in Australia anymore, as all the DVDs are out of print and Britbox got rid of it in April.
Dental plan! (Lisa needs braces!)
Hard agree, honestly it was some of the most fun I’ve had in any movie this year, so worth seeing

Really enjoying Torchwood series 7, with the caveat that I skipped a bit in episode 8 due to some old wounds (read: panic attack inducing trauma). Overall I’ve been really impressed by how bloodthirsty it’s been, and I’m looking forward to episode 9 tonight (been listening to them weekly).
Otherwise, Eight hasn’t had even one bone thrown his way since January, so I’ve not been too active. When he gets more stuff I’ll start buying hundreds of dollars of expensive shit again, as he’s the only Doctor that I’m consistently interested in (could take or leave the others). Once and Future always struck me as too simplistic to really get into, so I haven’t tried it yet.
Tbh this looks like a mistrial - five jurors proceeded to wait to speak with him and hugged him. It sounds to me like they only declared him not guilty because of his fame.
Pretty sure he confessed at one point, didn’t he?
I really need to start listening to the Paternoster Gang spinoff series - everything I see coming from it makes it seem fantastic; just been so focused on the Davison stuff lately I’ve not had the chance to try it
