2·6 days agoThe core gameplay of Overwatch 1 was so good. And then the publisher decided to pause updates for two years in order to push a more heavily monetized update they marketed as a sequel. And with how toxic the workplace culture became, I’m surprised the union didn’t form sooner.

“Capitalism works!” - They say, ignoring the environmental destruction, the starvation wages, the rampant homelessness, and the millions of people murdered in the name of ever-increasing profits.
We can all agree on the dismantling of capitalism, class hierarchy, private property, the wage system, etc. But even for everyone else, the people who still believe in capitalism (somehow), it should be obvious that a winner-takes-all voting system where we vote for one of two parties is not even a facsimile of democracy. It’s depressing actually, at least Europeans have the illusion of many different parties working directly to serve specific interests.
Of course, from our more critical lens, it may seem like a moot point.
98% of Americans believe the top lines and thats why the ruling class goes through the trouble of lying to us.
