what’s the difference?

I use used to use these terms to describe a time period and its history until I couldn’t even get out my thought without it turning into a us v them situation.

I am basically a layman, i do music productions and in the past VSTs seemed to never work properly nor the authentication software that some us. Has it gotten better in the past few years, is there a specific one i should try? i have tried Ubuntu but nothing else to be fair. Also if i want to make a plex server on an old PC, what would people recommend? thanks to anyone who responds!

Except one has built in meaning and the other is a simple meme made by one person with an oversimplified idea used likely to stir up people considering all the discussions happening about bears or whatever.

My biggest problem is learning how to use the damn thing. It doesn’t feel as intuitive as many of the others. The YouTube videos are also lacking atm. The learning curve has kept me off of it.
