Start slow! Do 5 crunches if that’s all it takes to few a burn. Catch your breath and do 2-5 more and then rest. Do stoplight runs and only run when you can. Rest/walk as needed.
The point is incremental increases in activity, you’ll get there so don’t rush and give yourself grace.

October 5 ours went up at work. July 24 was when Halloween showed up. I’m convinced dropping sales has pressured them to chase the holiday high of old, and their layoffs and cut hours simply don’t save enough to recover normally.
When I read about that I just felt . . . sad.
That’s exactly why I quit caring to try. I achieved a few dreams and felt…nothing. No sense of pride or accomplishment after burning my life away with no time or energy to make friends for years at a time or enjoy the few things I can still enjoy.

Hindsight and retrospect are how we learn and grow. Our time spent doing what we felt we wanted or should is not wasted if we enjoyed ourselves in some capacity.
Well it was 25 years in 2019, and I’d round down since we’re in September so yeah, 20 to go.

And most people I’ve met at these wages (I make $15) don’t even get full time, so 12-30 hours a week would be more precise. Most of my coworkers, even the full time ones, need a second income.
