96·2 months agoIf she marched for the cause of BLM adding another person from that group wouldn’t add a novel view point if that is already one of her own. As for the other groups you mentioned I think that they would be good additions. A homogeneous cabinet is pointless.
Perhaps my bolding and italics wasn’t enough. Was is in the past tense. As in not currently.
Cabinet positions are advisory and have little actually power. And not everyone “who was a Republican” is a fascist.
Not sure this is really Onion material. Diversity of thought is very important. If elected a cabinet of yes men might do her some harm. Even one dissenting voice can at least demonstrate how non partymembers might react to her plans. Allowing her to cater them to better appeal to a larger amount of the nation’s people.

3·3 months agoI would put it in the same class as lathes or mills you probably aren’t saving money by buying one but it may open more avenues for you.
I will say though with the price of printers vs mills & etc, a cheap printer will get you much closer to breaking even. You might save more than you spend if you can use an Ender 3 judicially but overall it’s mostly for those odd projects or when a custom part is needed.

261·3 months agoThe idea you assume a dissenting opinion is a bot automatically is alarming. Also who’d bother botting here? It seems like half the posts on Lemmyworld are made by like 20 people.
And North Korea’s constitution guarantees a ‘Right of Relaxation’. That is ink spilled on a page. POWs often have (and will in the future) had those dignities denied.
I don’t see how saying “What’s with all the anti Maduro sentiments getting censored” would violate instance rules.
Trump may be a very poor candidate, but he didn’t kill 13 million people.
I don’t think people 20+ years from now will instantly jump to Trump when they hear Donald. Just like how if you meet George you don’t think of Bush.
People don’t like when you punch down. When a 13 year old illegally downloaded a Limp Bizkit album no one cared. When corporations worth billions funded by venture capital systematically harvest the work of small creators (often with appropriate license) to sell a product people tend to care.
