You can help, that’s how open source works
Yeah, no thanks.
Well, it isn’t so much as that. It’s more of a “crap, my bed isn’t leveled”, or “my nozzle got clogged”, or “the filament wasn’t dry enough and broke”, or the filament got tangled, or some other random print fart issue that causes multiple printing issues sometimes. There’s also some situations where the design doesn’t work and you have to go back and make another design change or iteration. All those attempts create waste plastic, and while I recycle my scraps, I’m not sure how many who are going into this hobby do.
Honestly, I love 3d printing, but I still worry about microplastics in the environment.
That reminds me, is there a way to completely remove Google assistant and Gemini from a samsung phone?
Samsung implemented auto blocker a few updates ago, but now has enabled it by default on all their phones, and you need to know where to look to dissable it.
So any other app store that isn’t the samsung app store and Google play store wouldn’t work with this enabled, which is why they are in this lawsuit as well.
Epic filed a second lawsuit against Google (and Samsung) one week ago, arguing the companies were already attempting to sidestep this upcoming injunction by adding additional friction for third-party app stores. Since that case is now officially related to this one, Judge Donato will be hearing it as well.
I personally have been trying to setup a music library just for my ipod classic, and no matter what I do I keep finding duplicate songs. I also plan to self host my music library to access from my phone when I don’t have my ipod, but first I want to get rid of dupes which makes this so frustrating.
What are the biggest usenets?
Dammit, I was completely asleep. I meant if there was a Lemmy alternative
Is there a data Lemmy alternative?
Edit: don’t post if you just woke up
Honestly, the law should be that the batteries need to be designed to be replaced by off the shelf options. Basically, add instructions on how to relatively easily to replace the battery cells with the same ones found inside laptop batteries that can be ordered off Amazon or similar places.

Hate meta, but I’d still prefer WhatsApp over sms any day
Downloading it now! Thanks random internet stranger
On the same boat. People flat out refuse to use signal and just keep using sms… 🤬
Interesting, I’ll try looking into this but in case someone has a script they can share and save me some Lemmy hours, that would be sweet
What I wish I had is a way to silence multiple notifications when someone is texting you a bunch of times in a very short time (aka "blowing up my phone). One notification is enough – maybe two max, and I’ll check it when I get a chance.
They might… when they setup a way to harvest more data from us in the process
