I am using a handcart too for some years. It can be converted to a bike trailer in a few seconds. You can mount a box with straps or drill holes for custom mods. It has a max. load of 80kg. Possibly one of my most useful purchases in the last years.

It’s about a simple as it can get. Never had any troubles with MX. Very good support on the forum. Supports very modern Hardware (AHS Kernel). Very interesting GUI Apps for settings, which otherwise were terminal-dependent. With xfce it will run even on old hardware.

That’s the beauty of AVL, it includes the kxstudio repos and some others by default. It’s all there all incl. Should even do the job on an air gapped studio workstation.

Does btrfs still slow down the system until freezing, when doing snapshots of the sys subvolume? I never used btrfs again. Imagine, you set a cron for hourly snapshots, and what you get is 2 minutes of freezing every full hour 🙈 I never had that kind of trouble with other snapshotable file systems as sys volume.

You are not used to dealing with bugs, it seems. I would say Linux Desktop users are generally always fiddling around. It also depends on your specific hardware setup.

Okular for forms. qpdf just for quick viewing and reading. PDF arranger for rearranging pages. pdftk (CLI) for some serious work on PDFs. Exiftool and qpdf (both CLIs) for metadata and linearizing.

Try Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC. There is an official evaluation .iso out there. Keys for full version cost very little. Enterprise 10 is the ONLY Windows out there which is not complete bullshit.
