That’s often true but not always, a good set dresser will make a mess if the scene and character calls for it. Typically only for “film d’auteur” though in the more commercial things it’s almost always as you said.

The bigger issue in paw patrol is that the main character seems to be a billionaire type that uses his wealth to create and control his own public services (policing but also recycling, firefighting, construction, etc etc).
They paint hellinger as the evil rich man, which he is, but at least he’s government (mayor) and assumedly elected by his people.
Also the gist of every story is “let’s use these gas-powered vehicles and machines to solve every problem”.
So yeah, it’s very much billionaire apologia on top of the police boot-licking.

The shorts are so close to her skin colour I thought it was even worse than that.
Yeah we have that in Europe on highway stops and other places with high traffic of people like stadiums, big concert venues etc.
In fact, there are no seatbelts.

I fail to understand what inverting the map achieved here.

Unforeseen is pretty clear, by definition, that they’re things we wouldn’t be able to predict until they happen. I agree with the general sentiment in this thread btw, using genetics to prevent hereditary conditions or otherwise improve the human condition sounds great on paper but it’s risky business.

Technically correct, the best kind of correct.
Amanite tue-mouche (fly killer).
It can indeed get you high if prepared properly (something about the peeling the skin/dots? Can’t remember).
But even if done correctly the high to sick ratio isn’t worth it I hear and it’s very easy to not prepare it properly. So I heard…
I’m just impressed by how clean that fridge was before they murdered a tiny person in there.

Literally nothing can happen anymore without it being immediately commodified and its profits optimized for maximum shareholder gains. You could start a “capitalism sucks and fuck you and your money” thing and within a month it would be making cash for some billionaire.

Kim Jong Il came in power in 1994.

Which I think is what the average investor does, to be fair. I think we mean “active” investor and/or day-trader here.

Yeah I have no notes, well played to the marketing team.
Read this as onion buster and I was wondering what the poor vegetables did to that person.
The way the law translates is that there can’t have been a movement on prices in the last 30 days if the vendor is using a strike-through promotion or an amount/percentage off, so they can’t just jack up the price the week before basically. So if you see “30% off! Was 100€, get it now for 70€!” then you know the item was sold for 100 for the last 30 days at least.
The usual line you’ll hear on set is that “if your audience notices this, you’re doing something wrong with your story telling”.
