Oh no it’s never paid, but they have to allow them time to vote. Usually that means wake up at 6am to get to the polls by 7

By law employers are required to allow their workers an opportunity to vote. The problem is other stuff like taking their kids to school and having to go to work right after and by the time you make it to the poll through rush hour traffic, the line is out the door and they shut it down and don’t let you vote even though you waited for an hour.
I saw an interview with Jack Ma (I think) where he said his job isn’t to be the smartest at the job. His job is to find the smart people and make sure they work together. I think that may be what’s happening here. Leadership is incapable of holding the engineers accountable and making sure they follow all safety protocols. Whether that is incompetence or malice I’m sure we’ll never know for sure.
That’s the problem. You have to buy a brand new phone because your phone is locked. With this law if you bought your phone outright you could switch carriers within 2 months if you found a better deal and still keep your phone. Can’t currently do that in the US.
And the whole locking cost is made up. It’s simple to make a phone “unlocked”. The cost in inflated on purpose to create a need so they can offer locked at a discount.
Poverty is wealth
“T-Mobile claims that with a 60-day unlocking rule, “consumers risk losing access to the benefits of free or heavily subsidized handsets because the proposal would force providers to reduce the line-up of their most compelling handset offers.”
I’m I stupid or are they threatening to arbitrarily raise prices for no reason other than spite?
Also wtf is a “handset”?
This is exactly my take. I don’t understand humanity’s need to blame everyone and everything else for their own problems. Stop blaming tiktok for your dopamine addiction. Get help.
This reads like Facebook propaganda. If they are paying people who gives a fuck.
Yes. They are chasing corporate profits during covid. It’s a recipe for disaster on the already worker shortage they are facing. If i could afford a long term put on Amazon if take it. They are a bubble waiting to burst.
You’re misinterpreting what I’m saying due to my poor word choices haha. I’m not saying it’s fake. The camera is mounted to the lander and there is a delay in the footage because they had to do some kind of conversion in the video to be able to watch on tv. That’s where many of the conspiracy theories come from. Most people don’t know that.
Because everything at the time was about tricking the Russians.
The reason the conspiracy exists is because the video footage is staged to match the audio. Obviously there wasn’t a camera crew on the moon.
I’ve been waiting to see a doctor for 3 hours, currently in the ER with my shoulder dangling out of its socket. The current medical system is a fucking scam
My biggest gripe about the android/Apple debate is that half the “features” that android/Apple users talk about, 95% of the user base doesn’t even know how to use.
Not every android user is a technical sevant and most Apple users are poor so they can’t take full advantage of the biggest advantage which is seamless integration with their other Apple devices. Most of us are too poor to even have the phone, let alone a MacBook, AirPods, and every dongle needed to use the device.
It’s ugly and the fold is noticeable which is distracting when watching videos. Not to mention Huawei is banned in the US
No because it’s ugly. The fold is noticeable in the Samsung version as well. Very easy to tell the screen isn’t glass and that is bothersome when watching videos.
Apple is leaning into the criticism that all they do is copy Samsung tech. Nobody wants a folding iPhone.
More and more I am tempted to buy one of those 36,000 lumen flashlights and shine it at people who refuse to remove their high beams. You can tell when it’s just a tall truck and some asshole with high beams.
Find new early morning friends. Meeting up at dennys for coffee and pancakes hits different at 4:30
You are arguing semantics on whether it’s paid or not. No one cares. The point is, paid or not, your job has to give you time to vote, usually at the employees expense.
