I tried and failed to make a joke.
Yes, I was trying to make a joke, since you read it so often, that games on Steam always have DRM.
How can this be?! I thought games on Steam had to have DRM.
Germany is weird with the Wolfenstein games
Not anymore. You can buy the non-german Wolfenstein games for a while now (since 2019).
I think I remember that around the release of This War of Mine and Wolfenstein 2, there were some more discussions about just flat out banning Nazi symbols in video games, and treating them as art.
Porn and Hentai games are still pretty much all blocked on Steam, and some gory stuff, which I don’t get. You can’t buy Dying Light (but you can buy the DLC) on Steam or GOG, but Doom, where you’re ripping apart demons, is ok.
Missing the price for the games, since that’s been jacked up to $80 for digital and maybe $90 for physical.
Didn’t know these cards are under $400. AMD really are aggressive in their price strategy.
Thanks, gonna check that out.
I’m “playing” Melvor Idle right now, and am looking for something similar, when I eventually finish it.
I would like something that doesn’t have to run all the time and can progress offline, and doesn’t need a lot of interaction most of the time. In Melvor you can just start training a skill, and then just wait. No excessive clicking, no rebirth, just waiting for numbers to get bigger.
It had 2.4 million players at launch on Steam, so I guess a few people played it.
Just take one of the other gazillion GOTY awards. there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you.
The Germans united to get the Simulator game to the top, so they can work in a game, after they get home from work.
The Steam Awards are mostly just “what’s my favorite game” or “which game have I heard of” for all categories. It doesn’t matter if the game fits or not. For Wukong it’s additionally “where was the game made”, since it’s one of the few high profile Chinese games (outside of China) and Steam has a lot of Chinese users.
