Ah, a fresh reference straight out of the oven.
The
core-jsstory always makes me sad. Sure, he’s developing an open source project and no one HAS to pay him. But the meager amount of donations and the tons of hate he receives isn’t justifiable.
37·3 months agoThe problem I see here is that AI may write code that does compile, but has a bunch of logical errors, edge cases or bad architecture. From personal experience, even though AI can write small amounts of good code, it’s bad at understanding big and complex solutions.
At that point, fixing the AI codebase might take longer than just starting with a competent Rust dev.

Great show, and you should definitely watch it. But no one can say they were truly ready for it.

Yeah most likely a bug because Epic doesn’t put forever free games in that section.
Not sure if it’s a bug but it seems to be listed as permanently free instead of 100% off.
2·7 months agoWait, how do you schedule alarms indefinitely? I tried to do this in calendar but it just displays a notification (which I can miss).
The insinuation of “merge now otherwise you are letting your users down” in the F-Droid PR is so sickening. I can’t imagine talking like that to people who voluntarily put their time and effort into a FOSS project.
It’s interesting that the last two candidates ended up being the two extremes.
The age gap between my sibling and I is the same as the novelist and her brother. It’s hard to imagine the anguish they must feel.
