In in real life lol?
In in real life lol?
Ah I see, well it’s nice the circumstances existed for them to come about. It’s good having goods and services being provided by co-ops, for the workers especially but usually for the customers too.
Well you’re weak and cowardly
I mean fuck Ajit Pai and all, but that is a very efficient mug and it doesn’t deserve hate for being associated with the grim reaper of digital freedom.
We need to end unjustified hatred of big mugs now.
I didn’t even know co-op power companies were common, it seems like an odd (but good) service to be provided by a co-op. I wonder if there’s any in the UK
Are social studies undergrads often fans of FOSS lol?
How the fuck did you get that from what you just read??
Now we need somebody from Siberia to tell us how they can drive for 5000km and never leave their federal subject (I had to look that up, it’s what the different regions of Russia are called)
Were they making an argument?
Now that’s something I could get behind… €2,352 would be pretty nice lol
Lol, I have been using vDS on my Android phone it’s the DS emulator that I found works best (at least best free emulator.) Most games work well, some don’t seem to translate well to a phone screen though. I wanted to play Sonic Rush Adventure, and it runs fine on the emulator but the on screen buttons just don’t seem to be suitable for that type of game.
Huh interesting. So I guess replies appear in order of when they were made and not weighted based on upvotes, seen as there appears to be no equivent on Mastodon? Quite cool (and a bit confusing) how Activity Pub is stitching everything together. I wish I could see more content from Mastodon show up in Lemmy, not sure how that would work with communities though.
Also, I notice the web version of Mastodon has a really nice UI
Huh, the user tag of the last Mastadon user I saw on Lemmy was also @null, although their tag seems to be showing up correctly for me now
So on Mastadon do you see Lemmy posts as the Mastadon equivalent of a Tweet?
I never see posts and comments from Mastadon users on Lemmy even though I believe it’s more popular so you would expect there to be more or at least a similar number as from Lemmy users. I think your comment is only the second I’ve seen from Mastadon users.
Like the other reply says, the user tag of the last Mastadon user I saw was [name]@null, though yours is fine for me now. Also odd that your attached images don’t show even though Lemmy has that feature too. Maybe these issues will be ironed out soon
Yeah of course. If you’re referring to what I said about not having people waiting for you to finish, at shops I go to with them there’s one line for like 6 or more machines so people aren’t waiting for any one person, you know? You aren’t the sole reason somebody is having to spend time in the store.
Ah I am the opposite, I prefer the self check outs so that I don’t have to talk to anyone. I don’t know why but I always feel obligated to think of something to say when going through human checkout. If there’s an issue with the machine during check out that can be a bit anxiety inducing but the issues are fairly common so I just sort of shrug and am like “it just started beeping” and they make it stop within a few seconds.
For the same reason I’ve been cutting my own hair for nearly 6 years now lol
Yeah of course, you can just go at your own pace and do it in your own time. Don’t have to have 20 people breathing down your neck and judging you for taking 5 seconds too long to find your debit card. Don’t have to talk to anyone, it’s great. People just prefer different things.
Yeah I’m pretty sure fffp3/N95 masks should leave you almost completely protected in normal circumstances, outside of working in a hospital or whatever.
Heheh I’m ddossing them right now. Unfortunately the computer I’m doing it on is having a few connection issues
