I think any person signing up for this Black-Mirror storyline is by definition a vulnerable person.

I wrote an essay on this for a car design degree more than 20 years ago. Microplastics wasn’t a term then, but we knew the tyres were wearing out. The debris had to be going somewhere.

While complaining without offering solutions is just whining, I was not able to offer a reasonable alternative then, and I don’t have one now.
