  • Theoretically, sure, it’s possible. I think what’s more likely to happen if Trump fucks up is that Israel will just keep up the attack maybe with slightly less support. It’s not like they are a U.S. State that has to abide by a SCOTUS decision; they are (for good and bad) their own sovereign nation and could WOULD MOST LIKELY make the choice to continue their abhorrent actions, regardless of whatever Trump himself might do.

The state of Israel is not a “puppet” of the U.S., only able to make a movement when given a command from the White House; it is closer to Frankenstein’s Monster, fully capable of making its own decisions, and sometimes they choose to do evil things (regardless of how ‘justified’ they tell themselves it is). It’s not a 1-to-1 comparison, but I think it’s a better way to understand the whole situation

  • I recognize your anger, I am also distraught about Palestine and I wish we had a candidate who was adamant about not giving more aid to Israel. I’m not saying you need to give up on your ideals nor am I telling you to shut up about it. But let’s be real here, as much as we hate it, we only have 2 choices in November, and one of them will cause much MUCH more damage to Palestinians, Americans, and quite possibly the entire globe if he gets elected. We CANNOT let Trump win, so again, as much as I don’t like many of Kamala’s stances, she is undeniably receiving my vote

Look, I don’t like Kamala either and I think continuing to supply weapons is awful, obviously. But she’s the only realistic option at this point. You can still protest the genocide in Gaza AFTER the election (and I fully support you doing so, Hell I might even meet you at one), but look at it this way: if Kamala wins, you at least have a chance to make a change over there, but if Trump wins again, every Palestinian is as good as dead. Do I like either option? No! Do I think our elections are a good system? No! Am I going to vote for Kamala anyway? Yes! Because at this point, the choice is between shooting ourselves in the foot or in the temple

  • Free (legal) movies. Most are stuff I don’t want to see anyway, but every once in a while a diamond in the rough pops up

Edit: Like someone else mentioned, YT is my primary entertainment source for a few reasons, so I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth. I wouldn’t recommend everyone get it, but I’m happy with my decision

  • [Copy-pasting my response from a very similar question, I’ll put your specific questions in an ‘edit’ below:

Giving you enough context to actually answer your question without giving up TOO much private info, in order:

Cubicle job where I make just under $20/hour (min. wage for my state is $15)

I don’t have a SET budget, but I really don’t spend that much :/ Rent is roughly half of my current paycheck (currently with 1 additional roommate but hopefully will get another in the next few months); Food is probably my biggest expense. Other than that, I have Spotify, YouTube, Xbox, and Microsoft Office accounts, but that total is about $60/month, which isn’t THAT much and, on the whole, has actually saved me money (so many ‘free’ games on Xbox it’s not even funny).

As for debt, I’ve got an account with a credit union, phone bill, car payments, car insurance, renter’s insurance, student loans, utilities, etc, etc. For a rough estimate (again, without giving too much away), recently I ended a week with ~$35, got my (2-week/80-hour) paycheck, paid all my bills, and ended up with ~$75. So, essentially, I made $.50/hour after bills

Edit: Location, American Midwest. Education, some years of college (a pretty good one, too) but never graduated. Age, early 30s. Aaand that’s about all I’m comfortable giving online
