I just got banned again from Reddit.

First ban was for a post offering welding advice to an apprentice almost a year ago. Someone dug through my post history and flagged it as “promoting violence.”

That ban was a week ago.The ban today didn’t even specify why. No link to any post, just a 7 day ban without explanation.

Something shady is going on with Reddit.

A lot of people incorrectly believe the Democrat party is unified on issues and policy.

In reality, there are a lot of right wing DINOs who just use the label of “Democrat.” Schumer, Pelosi, Clintons, and Jeffreys are right wingers.

I’ve been a PC gamer for almost 30 years now. This perpetual march of buying new PC upgrades to play new games is an old song.

Pete has been making the rounds on various right and left’ish podcasts and channels, that’s probably why his name is coming up. Though he avoids discussion on specific policy or make any firm stances.

Basically he’s doing the Democrat Dance. Saying lots of words with little or no substance or committment.

Host: “America is feeling a lot of economic pain.”

Pete: “I aknowledge and empathize with that pain.”

Host: “…and? What would you do about it if you were president?”

Pete: “Yes! So, about that local sports team…”

This issue is a hot potato for politicians, none of them want to fix it. To fix it is to aconowledge the real unemployment numbers which will reflect badly on a political party.

If Political Party XYZ were in charge and changed the unemployment count to the true count, Political Party ABC will claim unemployment “skyrocketed” because of Party XYZ without the context of the count being more accurate.

And if Party ABC takes back power in this hypotherical, they would change the definition back to the inaccurate count, then claim they drastically lowered unemployment.

Generally, if software was affordable and their business model is ethical, I wouldn’t pirate it.

If a company is charging a subscription for something that has no business being a subscription, I’ll pirate it. If a business is stealing data or willingly collaborating with evil people/governments/regimes/etc, I’ll pirate it.

Democrats: “Let’s ignore left wing and independant voters. We’ll chase after right wing voters instead.”

Right wing voters vote entirely for Republicans. Left wing and independant voters feel abandoned and dont vote.

Democrats: "I don’t understand how we could have lost. Let’s continue to ignore left wing and independant voters. We’ll have to double down on our efforts to get right wing voters.

Democrats: “What the hell happened? We lost yet again? I thought doubling down on the same strategy would have worked. Welp, we have no choice now but to triple down on the same strategy we keep losing with.”

It’s ok. I’m in my 40s and it’s my first dive into a pokemon game. My roommate is angry that a coworker recommended this specific game as my first, but it seems ok.

There’s a story… I guess? It’s not very compelling as it seems the target demographic is much younger. I do like going to new areas, collecting every wisp and pokemon, and evolving them.

I’m late to the party, but I just got into Pokemon Legends Arceus.

Soon, a dottering old man will patrol the island while quipping “spared no expense!”

Maybe they should stop mass banning people for opposing genocide? Just a thought.

Laws are only as good as their enforcement mechanisms. And if there are no enforcement mechanisms… well…

Dems are still out in the woods, looking for their spine. They lost it decades ago.

The “prophet & pah wraiths” stuff does get better in later seasons, and it plays a major role in the final season.

You’re only on season 1, and first seasons can be rough. But it does get better, it makes more sense, and it’s integral to the DS9 story.

That would require the Dems to get off their butts and do something.

Maybe instead of blaming Google, Reddit should stop pandering to Nazis and condoning zionists committing genocide.

Democrats are going to keep on losing for the next decade or so. The party is filled with out-of-touch geriatric fools who believe politics still function the same as in 1990.
