Do you want Skynet? Because this is how you get Skynet.

Not even remotely comparably.

Those are fascist states too. You can’t make use of this kind of technology and still claim to be the good guys. Fascisms not a left or right thing, both sides of the aisle can slide into that kind of behavior.

My guess is his personal vendetta against Walz.

There’s no such thing as common sense. Its just a way for people to claim their ideals as the standard because “I said so.”

Oh no, anyways…

That’s good to hear, because its looking like I’ll probably end up with one of those two! Thanks for the feedback.

Haha, fingers crossed.

I will definitely try again at some point in the next year, so I will keep that in mind! I appreciate the kind words. A lot of what you said is over my head at the moment though, so I’ve got my work cut out for me. 😅

Count me among those lost customers. I had them for years but they are an absolute nightmare so last year I finally gave up and just cancelled my internet outright. Unfortunately fiber isn’t an option where I live. I’m looking at wireless right now, but atm I don’t have internet. Not having internet is preferable to dealing with Comcast’s bullshit tho.

I’m using docker. Tried to set up Jellyfin in one but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to get it to work, even following the official documentation. Ended up just running the jellyfin package from my distros repo, which worked fine for me. Also tried running a tor snowflake, which worked, but there was some issue with the NAS being restricted and I couldn’t figure out how to fix that. I kinda gave up at that point and saved the whole container thing to figure out another day. I only switched to Linux and started self-hosting last year, so I’m still pretty new to all of this.
Buy thr Bluray, and then torrent a rip.

I still haven’t figured out containers. 🙁

I feel like most used consoles aren’t as crazy in price, as you’re making them out to be, but that may be dependent on your market. I’ve picked up a bunch of consoles over the last few years, both home consoles and handhelds, for the purpose of modifying them. I’ve found that I like to play on original hardware, but the physical games are so absurdly overpriced at this point, I’ve either converted them to run optical drive emulators or bought flash carts. I can boot up the consoles, select the game I want to play, and go. Its a cool way to modernize the consoles I grew up with, while overall getting the same original experience.

Yup, I’ve hacked most of my systems, and the Vita was shockingly easy. So easy I hacked my brother in laws for him too.

Lmao, like I’m ever going to install anything by Nvidia ever again.
Is the softmod on it persistent between reboots? Last I looked into it you had to run the exploit every time.

It was a joke, thank you.

I was teasing, you’re literally posting the same link from the comment I replied to. Don’t be obtuse.
There’s no irony, making a statement of personal opinion isn’t remotely the same as making a statement of universal truth.
