When I went to price it out at the store, the line for a dumb phone was going to cost $30/mo more than a smart phone. It was dumb.

The B girls went on by their own street names, 671 was the dancers chosen moniker. She was the first athlete to complete without an alphabetical name, I think I heard? The other Chinese dancer in finals went by a name.
A Japanese woman, Ami maybe, won the gold. I really liked the Lithuanian kid who came in second, she was fun to watch. And I liked the girl from the Netherlands who came in 4th. Bronze went to China’s 671, but her dancing struck me as a power performance more than an art or a form of play.
I didn’t see Raygun till now because I only watched finals. Just didn’t have the time to watch it all. Stupid music licencing rules causing things to disappear.
Yeah, there’s a gulf of difference between wanting a problem to disappear vs relishing the incredibly detailed idea of pain and suffering of another human being. One’s like putting down a rabid dog, the other is just pain for pains sake.
Ooh, remember the cordless landline phones? I’d always see how far from home I could walk before they’d cut out
As someone working at a college–yup. A lot of students don’t know how to log out, or find save files. Where would they have learned it, though? You never log out of mobile devices.
Wait till they demand contractor rates!
I can appreciate that approach. But the biggest problems I have are when they nest in the railing of my little wooden deck. Every year it’s the same fight. So I’m a little leery of using fire.
Lol, not while I’m holding the bottle.
But seriously, where are the drones made specifically to spray stuff on wasp nests? I wouldn’t feel the need to use the foaming, bad stuff that hurts the bees if I could try a robot applying something like this. Or at least if it sprayed foam, it could be in significantly smaller amounts, much closer the the nest of trouble.
I think part of the general 🤷♀️ this year is how early Easter happened. Even though spring also started early, it just felt way too soon to be Easter.
But also, you’re lucky you don’t just… have this crap shoved down your throat everywhere you go. In my northwestern US town, the local cult I mean mega church rented out the big convention space and put signs up all over town.
Also, maybe people with kids gotta still care. Kids are excited about everything that they can possibly celebrate.
And that skipping KILLED the batteries.
Forgive me, but I don’t believe political affiliation is a protected class–protected classes are the only things people can’t discriminate based on. So like, race, sex, religion are protected, but democrat/republican/green party aren’t protected. Businesses can legally discriminate against non-protected classes. It’s just usually a bad business strategy to turn customers away.
Edit: the second sign is definitely more questionable, as it does specifically discriminate based on beliefs. I was mostly focused on the first sign.
