I bought a new video card right after Trump won. But yeah now I’m ready to use my current hardware for a good long while.

I cancelled mine when Trump won and don’t miss it at all. Most places will ship for free nowadays and charge the same prices as Amazon. Two day shipping is the only perk of Prime and even that doesn’t always happen. If I need something that bad, I just go to a store, which again, charged the same prices as Amazon nowadays.
Yes, I am upset that the GOP is wantonly criminal and shut the government down.

I teach at a business college and a ton of my students buy Chromebooks because they’re cheap and just use cloud-based software. Windows is doomed as an OS because an entire generation has grown up never using it.
The purpose is really to dismantle public schools by making them so unsafe that parents don’t want to send their kids to them.
2·7 months agoIf it helps, you can get pop os with Nvidia drivers pre-installed and configured. That helped me a lot.
I had problems on Ubuntu but no problems with PopOS
In my case, it’s usually the VPN.
I am using an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Processor and ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC Edition 16GB.
In steam, I use GE-Proton10-10 for the compatibility tool and for the launch options I have: PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 SteamDeck=1 gamemoderun %command% -PSOCompileMode=1
I found the PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 part to be what made the difference for frame-rate.
It might mean you’ve asked a trivial/routine question you easily could have answered yourself. In the same way someone might just send you a Google response prior to chatgpt.
