Hello 8th person I’ve had to explain this to: they still connect to stuff. Even if you disable WiFi on the Samsung TV they can mesh network with other TVs in your neighborhood or with your phone (Samsung is particularly pushy about wanting you to install and connect your phone).

That sadly doesn’t work well enough. They will connect to things on their own.

You’ll have to insulate your home from any outside unsecured wifi and compatible devices to stop some of them from networking.

They have been known to connect automatically to nearby compatible devices or unsecured wifi.

As mentioned by others, they sometimes network with nearby devices such as your neigbor’s TV or an unsecured wifi.

The game company can afford to sell digital goods and services to Brazil at a fraction of the cost and they profit.

I think part of the issue is steam allows publishers to set region specific prices and lock users into a region.

You pay $89 for an annual subscription package, somebody in brazil pays equivalent to $32.58.

Poor use of terms. AI does not analyze. It does not think, or decode, or even parse things. It gets fed sample data and when given a prompt (half a form) it uses statistical algorithm to finish the other half.

All of the algorithms are stupid, they will all hallucinate and say the wrong things. You can add more corrective layers like OpenAI has but you’ll only be closer to the sample data. 95% accurate. 98%. 99%. It doesn’t matter, it’s always stuck just below average human competency for questions already asked countless times, and completely worthless for anything that requires actual independent thought.
