In my experience there are few crowdsourced products that continue to be significantly developed after the initial sales have finished unless they are astoundingly well-reviewed to continue selling.

Pebble was one of the few exceptions for one that I funded. Even then, once the Apple Watch came out they got gobbled up by (garmin) and all development on the originals died.

This is why I love the md array in Unraid. If I was to lose 1 data drive and 2 parity drives at once (unlikely), I’d still only lose the data on the single failed data drive, not the entire array as the data isn’t striped across all drives.

Yes it’s a bit slower but it’s my media server so still plenty fast for that.

You may not need one but as someone that has a medical condition constantly logged by a smartwatch there absolutely is a serious need by others.

It’s like saying I don’t need a wheelchair, nobody else does either, which is crazy.
