Rather obvious punk.
Rather obvious punk.
That’s just what comes with internet becoming mainstream so mainstream cultural standards are applied to online conversations. It’s the difference between an opera and a punk club or something.
Photography can be art as well as AI generated images can be art as well. AI is a tool and people can create art with it. But also what is art is completely subjective to the viewer.
Sure, I even do photography professionally form time to time - I just don’t consider it to be a painting.
With this logic photography is a painting, painted at an impossible high speed - but for some reasons we make a difference between something humans make and machines make.
Still here?
Doubt you will ever know what an appeal emotional logical fallacy is.
Again, we are talking about empathy and you clearly show that you don’t get it. Which was my point to begin with. Sorry mate to be the one bringing you the news.
Dude, I thought you left?
Your probably claiming others would use said artwork to hurt people.
Again if you would have empathy you could just listen to people, what and how they are hurt by deepfakes and understand what the problem is. Since you don’t have empathy, nothing I will tell you would make any sense for you.
Not seeing how your actions are hurting others, despite them even telling you - is mostly related to lack of empathy. Not that complicated, just simple logic.
Sure, what ever helps you masturbate. But again - you can also have empathy with people who it has an effect on, listen to why and how and masturbate to all the other porn out there. But you wont since you lack basic empathy or maybe the whole hurting people is what gets you off in the first place. Not judging.
And I believe if I draw some picture of (let’s say you) and keep it to myself (or with those who consented to seeing said drawing), there is nothing wrong with that.
Sure. But that’s not what happens with deepfake porn sites? They are public.
I would recommend to get some empathy, not bad in general.
There are always reasons not to do things. Which is what the comic is ultimately about for me. But than again - you have your life and I don’t know what is going on there - so no judgment. I just always thing we all need some creative outlet and I love getting people who don’t do creative stuff into doing it, be it just for one time (since I’m not a musician I like to draw with folks). And I’m not the youngest myself - so it’s not like I’m talking completely out of my ass.
have always wanted to play jazz piano, but it is absolutely impossible at my age to reach a level of proficiency that would satisfy me
Again if you don’t want to learn jazz piano, absolutely fine - I just honestly don’t get why not even try. But maybe you just need a couple more years to let go of to hard expectation for your self and just try it out. Worst case you learned to play piano worse than you would like to.
When I was younger I didn’t pick up any music instrument since I thought I had no music talent. Later in life I stop caring and picked up percussion and some overtone flute, just for my self and I have real fun with it and don’t care that I have no talent and won’t be a great musician. That was possible because I learned to manage my expectation and not get frustrated if I’m not really good at something - a skill that I did not have when I was younger.
Nothing wrong with not wanting to learn new things, but no need to hide behind no being able to - just own it.
Sure it depends on how you spend your life and what you want to learn. I can speak from my experience as someone who likes to learn and try out new things and I just become more efficient at learning, knowing better what ways of learning suits me better how to get knowledge, not get frustrated, how to stay motivated etc. . When I was younger I would be much easier demotivated by slow progress or feeling of not having a talent, now I just care much less.
Why people don’t like fruit?
You have less energy, but you also have more experience in how to approach new topics and sometimes experiences that can be translated and help with learning.
Learning and starting new things is a skill of it self, it gets less scary the more you do it. Obviously helps if you started earlier to develop a habit of not being afraid if new things - so there is some kind of catch in there.
Seems like Facebook is the right place for them than.
Copyright laws protects the ability of copyright holder to make money. The laws were created before AI and now obviously have to be adapted to new technology (like you didn’t really need copyright before the invention of printing). How exactly AI will be regulated is in the end up to society to decide, which most likely will come down who has the better lobby.
