Yeah I hear that some people like to keep the bus pullups closer to the host. The other gotcha is that the voltage for the I2C doesn’t have to match the VCC pin and I didn’t want to assume that users would want those coupled together. Perhaps I can add some DNP resistors so users can have a choice of a pull-up on the dev board if they like.
Naturally, just like a making a pull request, I found that my annotations were incorrect for the LEDs (it doesn’t functionally change the schematic) after posting. My intent is to have all odd LEDs on U1 and even on U2 so that when I place them in a circle it’s easy to make usable patterns with one controller at a time as I learn how to use animation engines.
This update causes my Jetbrains IDE to randomly crash several times a day, it’s great. Also my USB hubs wouldn’t work this morning until I power cycled everything a few times. What fun!
Hard disagree, fold 4 gang.
I can’t speak for the flip, but the fold 4 is fantastic. I can’t imagine going back to a slab
That box art looks really cool!
Howdy! There’s some engagement for yah
$80/mo symmetrical gig, no cap, fiber. ATT is shit but they’ve been very reliable with this service, first time I’ve been a happy customer of theirs.
Thanks for making it easy for the rest of us.
Neat, thanks for breaking it down in here!
I can’t guess, but I’m so happy to see a Stargate community on Lemmy! Yaaay!!!
Yep, same here. Premium is worth it for me too. I don’t understand the entitlement on lemmy with YouTube, it’s worse than reddit.
This is really neat! I was working on a project a few years ago to do something like this but then life happened. Glad to see others doing what I didn’t!
Glad I can shove more things into the same physical space. I can’t wait until HAMR is ready next!
Ruby! It’s a wonderful language with a fantastic community, mature frameworks, and active development on performance and core features.
Hmm, I did the same upgrade on klipper but didn’t run into any extrusion issues like you described. I presume you cleared out your old config files? Is it possible there’s some cruft left over? Bad pin configuration or something?
I knew I wasn’t the only one who noticed this. Absolutely infuriating. I hate self checkout because of shit like this
I don’t think titles directly transfer between companies, and yet the industry allows it. It’s a very useful tool for advancement.
Time on the job does not equate to skill. Some jobs force you to figure shit out that other jobs simply never expose you to. Other jobs expose you to lots of busywork and that isn’t going to make you a better engineer either.
I’ve met senior engineers with 3 years that are significantly more useful than senior engineers with 10 years. Individual motivation and willingness to learn matter the most to me.
I have used the ladder to my advantage and advise others to do the same. It’s a game, you don’t win by not playing.
Neat! Thanks for sharing
