You said there was a vote though? It couldn’t get enough Dem’s to even bring it to a vote. And no I don’t think a majority of Dem’s would choose to allow non adults to vote and it would certainly be dead if it made it to the floor. There are significantly more examples of Repub’s trying to restrict voting since the 60’s than Dem’s trying to expand voting beyond groups of adults who were deprived from voting like women, African Americans, etc.
I didn’t realize Meng had tried to do this in 21 but it didn’t even get a vote as far as I can see which is why it was reintroduced again in 23 and it hasn’t moved. So they being a small group of Dems who can’t even get it to a vote doesn’t mean that much so I stand by not anyone with any power will do anything. It’s not like Dem’s have some Project 2025 with this in that goal book for the future.

I actually liked and used the old pull up menus in Windows. Starting at Win10 I put everything I use on my desktop and avoid as much of Windows functionality as I can and turn off everything I can. I don’t want an Android or IOS type interface on my PC and will go to Linux at some point as Windows pushes that envelope further, or switch to some WinServer type setup where they allow the owner a lot more control of the OS
I run uOrigin, flashblock, JS disabled, No Overlays, and DDG’s privacy ad on’s and I have no problems with YT
No large manufacturing and very rough country. I’d also guess a lot of the tourism is based in Madrid and Barcelona. I’ve looked at touring S. For desktop motherboards I’ve usually gone MSI but my gaming laptop is an Asus and is a little over a year old. It’s worked perfect since I got it and I’ve had zero problems with it. The Nvidia GPU and laptop fans sure do sing when I’m playing games though

I dropped HP printers when I tried to use a new ink cartridge and it was out of date and wouldn’t print. We have 2 Epson’s with refillable ink cartridges now.

I’m an old fart but we learned a lot of languages in school from simple Basic to Cobol, to RPG for corporate reporting, then Pascal and Fortran for engineering, and finally C for the future. And then of course I ended up hired and placed on a DB team to write SQL for years after being hired as a C programmer. But I do feel my years in Liberal Arts majors helped me in many ways through my career and gave me a lot of flexibility to keep finding a niche as the corporate entity changed goals and methods. I trained engineering sw for about half my career and couldn’t have done that without my non computer education
