Hey now, if a fellow freedom-haver from east of Colorado asks where I’m from, I just say north of Seattle, because they both do not care and also do not know anything about my state. If I say I’m from the “South Vancouver Trader Joe’s unincorporated district”, there is a better chance of a Canadian knowing where I am from than even someone from Seattle…
The people pushing AI don’t care if AI works or not. They will keep making money while the consumers and workers suffer.
So nice of you to do this! I see other comments suggesting TRI-III remastered runs well on Deck, so I would love a chance to give that a go!
I just finished Horizon: Forbidden West last week (playing the DLC now), and it left me with mixed feelings. I loved the story of the first game so much, and was so excited when FW came to PC, but it just did not hit the same way. RIP Lance Reddick, anytime Sylens was in the story it was a treat.
And apparently has cameras and sensors that detect if you cover up the 2nd screen. Truly dystopian, but also they weren’t exactly hiding these features if people bought the TVs…
My theory is related to your #1, but I’m guessing that the military is testing the detection capability of their systems. It would explain why the sightings have been all over the place. They are basically sending them out to fly in various different patterns from different approach vectors (“coming in from the ocean”) to ensure that the radar and likely more sophisticated drone-specific hardware can detect them. It would also account for why there have been such a variety of reports of different sizes and characteristics of the drones (the credible ones, not the people filming airplanes).
I think the success of drones in the Ukraine conflict has accelerated the concerns of the military and DHS, and they felt the need to accelerate the install/upgrade/test of their defenses.
