yeah, it displays native widgets but there is still a js engine (browser) running in the background. So the basically made a layer between native components and Javascript. But the code which is running is js and js is slow.

They don’t want us (consumers) to own anything. The world will turn up and down before this gets released to consumers.

I hope they’ll find a way to run all those applications in one browser. Like basically having a browser with multiple tabs but getting treated like seperate sandboxxed apps.

Basically a twitch streamer not being able to adapt to a working envoirenment. Streaming games all day long to working at least 8h a day is a big difference tbh

I only have about 1tb of important data (photos, important videos or documents etc). The other stuff is just movies, series or music you probably will find everywhere after 20 anyway so im storing the important stuff on a hetzner storage box (encrypted of course with cryptomator) and the rest of it on onedrive. Onedrive because i can easily stream the .mp4 files without needing to download them

hm i would be interested in that too. You never know how the prices will increase for such services.
