It even has the Wii Channels music!
Avatar is a lemming in bed because this account wasn’t intended to be used except for creating communities… and then my instance announced it was closing.
It even has the Wii Channels music!
Yes, I think that’s probably how it worked.
My memory of token ring is vague, but I think it was originally a ring in series as you said - however token ring switches (that isn’t what they were called) also existed, which was the “modern” way of writing up a token ring network.
Yeah, that’s what I mean. But it needs to be done by access time, not oldest item, as you don’t want frequently used things to be evicted.
Yeah, mine freezes on open sometimes which I suspect is the cache.
It should have an upper limit with the oldest access time items being evicted first.
Ah, why are the black squirrels not mapped? They are slowly taking over from the greys apparently.
“Oh, perhaps we could assign it to the actual Indian Ocean, as that’s quite a persuasive 💰 argument 💰.”
“… Or perhaps NASA would like to administer it on behalf of the aliens on Io until we make contact…”
You can be anything you want… even a space marine!
(just re-posting from the other thread - so ignore if you’ve already read!)
It’s a TRV head. You can unscrew it with the ring under the black area - may need an adjustable spanner to loosen. When you take it off, see if the rotation works and that the pin inside moves up and down. You can also check the metal pin/valve where it attaches isn’t stuck (it may need quite a bit of force to check - could need whacking with a hammer if it’s actually stuck). If everything seems OK, re-attach the head and see if it’s working. If it isn’t, new heads are cheap. What you have looks like what I have - cheap generic TRV heads, easy to find online.
I don’t think automatic crossposting is a good idea. However some way to “boost” Mastodon posts onto Lemmy would be good. Mbin has a way of boosting but can’t assign a magazine. Something like that may work though. Mastodon can already boost Lemmy posts.
Upvoted for NetSurf. I wrote the Amiga frontend for it, and as such it’s my favourite browser on that platform (OS4 anyway - the OS3 build is very unstable)
Yep, it’s a PITA to parse and get the values you want. Much prefer JSON. Recently when I needed to parse XML I ran it through an XML to JSON library. Much easier!
If you need to parse XML just for RSS though, it isn’t so bad as there are RSS specific libraries which take most of the pain away.
I can only assume you’ve never tried to parse or read XML.
Another, perhaps more obvious, example here: https://fedia.io/m/[email protected]/t/1171425/-/comment/7185393

Hmm, neither of those do a lookup and open in Connect, so might need to go to [email protected] and look for it.
Here’s a screenshot:
I’ve watched the first one - it’s alright! I thought it might be US-centric but David Braben is in it.
I’m not sure if they have a universal app, it’s definitely available on Roku devices.
There are a lot of people I follow who moved to Mastodon, that now appear to have moved to Bluesky (I’m seeing posts on there from people I know used to post on Mastodon).
I’m not sure why. If I move over it’ll be because everybody else is there. At the moment I’m not using it much.
Ok, looks like Fedia was having a moment - it’s working now. Nothing to see here.
Feel free to post to [email protected]
Is this what people mean when they say “legs up to her armpits”?
If your gut is saying C128, then start there. Have fun 🙂.
