libera te tutemet ex machina, and shitpost~~
Yuck no, I pay for the content not the ads. That implicit arrangement is false advertising then
Advertisers should pay people to watch ads, why do they expect attention for free?
It’s sad but every year just keeps living down to my expectations, so you just hold on to what you can 🤷♀️
Disgusting.
Do it and post results.
No not you, we need you to preserve this timeline !
I don’t get it, are you confused or doubtful?
Realistically, the 50 people riding a bus scenario will become 50 people riding a bus with rest of the road space occupied by 16-wheelers or other large transportation trucks
Just tapping that linuxsy
I guess I don’t buy enough for that to be an issue 🤷♀️
What’s good about Amazon anyway? It’s better to get stuff directly from a sellers site, even better if they’re indie. There’s not much value to prime shipping anymore, most sellers are pretty good about it now ironically because of Amazon. Using services like Amazon just creates more pollution, wage depression and small business closures. Use services like Amazon less, favor indie and small and fair wage businesses
He should be sitting further back, that’s just bad for your neck and can give you eye strain
Is this post sane-washing Russia? What’s left about Russia under Putin? Overall funny, though
Yup that’s what I do
Edit to say that there’s some mouse drivers which don’t work in a VM, at least from my experience but maybe I didnt try hard enough
Maybe, I’d like to see if there’s a difference, but you’re probably right
But not all Windows apps can be run via Wine, at least some apps related to some tools I’ve had to use were not available
Laying in your bed while it’s light out is underrated, it’s a cozy way to get some sun if your room is bright enough
In a way he’s right, but it depends! If you take even a common example like Chat GPT or the native object detection used in iPhone cameras, you’d see that there’s a lot of cool stuff already enabled by our current way of building these tools. The limitation right now, I think, is reacting to new information or scenarios which a model isn’t trained on, which is where all the current systems break. Humans do well in new scenarios based on their cognitive flexibility, and at least I am unaware of a good framework for instilling cognitive flexibility in machines.
