There’s this copypasta libs like to paste to supposedly “trigger Chinese censorship” which features several supposed censored events or keywords like the Great Leap Forward or Tiananmen Square, both in Chinese and English (otherwise they wouldn’t know wtf they’re posting).

A counter-copypasta to the Tiananmen Square one reactionaries like to post sometimes.

Well, they didn’t do it in one day. There was a post a few days ago on a documentary about Tibet. It’s from CPC-affiliated media, but it uses Western sources. Someone also commented a link to a CPC article talking about how they did it.

This is a socialist instance. We believe a planned economy managed by all workers is the only way for all people to have a dignified life. An example of this would be Cuba. In Cuba housing, food, education and healthcare are rights, to the point it has a higher life expectancy than the US, lower child mortality rate, and basically no homelessness. All under a 60+ year embargo by the US that is a mere 90 miles away.

PSA: There’s a program called “CTT Utility” or something like that that can remove Edge, the Microsoft Store (and consequently all its apps), feature updates (or even all updates, though security updates shouldn’t be disabled ofc) and all telemetry (not sure about this one). Works for w10 and w11

Edit: haven’t tried w11 but from what I’ve seen it’s a pile of ads and sluggish interface. Better to go with Linux (Linux Mint or Fedora KDE or even vanilla Ubuntu)
