Nope, my phone is 5 years old and it is nice to be able to wait for the latest release to get something brand new instead of a year or two old.

The problem is almost always with our society and not the technology itself. AI is fine, the way people are using it and the fact that people need jobs to exist in society isn’t.

Duck duck go is practically broken. I switched to startpage which worked alright until I got a VPN, then I just started using bing with better results. So it is somehow worse than bing even. Duck ignores my quotes and minuses and such things.

It is a difficult meme template but when done right the payoff is hilarious. But yeah.

Every time I see some unnecessary political take that everyone here agrees with anyway, like there’s always that one person in any thread that has to bring politics into things and I’m just like nope, I’m out. Got better things to do than have my mood ruined by thinking about the worst parts of life. Its like you people are intentionally trying to make everyone miserable.

Not even a little. I hate my Pixel 3. And the battery barely lasts half a day now. I just felt bad replacing it earlier than 5 years.

I’ve been using the same leather Carhartt wallet for 15 years or so now and have yet to find a wallet I like as much. Only downside is how thick it is, but I have a ton of cards to hold and cash.

When lightning came out, the other choice was MicroUSB which is an objectively bad connector that can burn in hell. I hate MicroUSB with a fiery passion. And people were really upset that Apple ditched the 30 pin connector so I cant fault them for keeping lightning so long. Either way I really don’t care because the only thing it changes for me is the cable I keep at my bedside. My data transfers are all done wirelessly. I don’t know why people think this is such a big deal, it is (mostly) just a charging port. As long as it doesn’t break if you breathe on it wrong like MicroUSB I’m happy.

I still have useless 30 pin connector accessories floating around.
