It still does? They have a version for people with internet access, and a version for people without, with a heavy dose of offline applications and information. You can also download more offline resources after you install it.
Thank you, that makes sense. I figure that separation provided by VMs and containers is also a security advantage, in case the software in them has vulnerabilities.
Thank you. Is the only reason that you run it in containers for the easy reproducibility, or is there any other reason that you want that separation from the bare metal OS?
Thank you. So the advantage of the isolation of LXC for you is to be able to tinker with the service without affecting the host.
I didn’t realize that! I haven’t watched either documentary yet, at least not fully.
Yeah, sorry you don’t see it, but 2020 was as bad as, if not worse than 2016 for the dirty tricks against Bernie. Sorry, but for all the candidates who were contending for the same voters as Biden to drop out at once, but the one candidate who was contending for the same voters as Bernie not dropping out for the the same reason (they couldn’t win) stunk to high heaven. That wasn’t “just politics” any more than the Superdelegates were in 2016. Both were pure, undemocratic manipulation.
For anyone interested in learning more, there’s a behind the scenes documentary about Fitzcarraldo: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burden_of_Dreams
Edit: I forgot to mention there is also a documentary about the tumultuous relationship between Herzog and Kinski: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Best_Fiend
Good idea, after having just spent quite a while setting mine and troubleshooting them (first time samba user).
I haven’t used the tool below, but I’ve seen it be recommended. Might it be kind of what you’re looking for?
I’ve been using LosslessCut for a few years now. It’s really easy and smooth. It does exactly what I want and what the name says, and I couldn’t ask for more.
Ah, interesting, I didn’t realize that this stuff had been around so long!
I’m sorry to hear that. I recognize that any general statements meant for a “majority” audience can appear to be insensitive to those outside that “majority”. That was not my intention and I regret that it appeared to be so.
I didn’t say it was a rule or commandment. The point is that natural food ingredients > processed, mystery ingredients for health (as a general rule, not always).
Also, an extreme low carb diet is not necessary to avoid diabetes, for most people.
The point is that natural food ingredients > processed, mystery ingredients for health (as a general rule).

Seaweed is looking super sus atm
Not seaweed in general, but “Processed eucheuma seaweed (thickener) (stabiliser) (gelling agent) emulsifier”
Pretty much, perhaps with the exception of bacon fat. And I say this as someone who is mostly vegan. The point is that natural food ingredients > processed, mystery ingredients for health (as a general rule).
Point taken, but the thing about adages is that they are generally truthful, simple guidelines, not 100% fail-proof rules. The point is that we should eat real, natural foods, not ultra-processed “products”.
I’m sorry to hear of what happened to your family members though, that’s truly regrettable! Sorry for your loss.
No problem!
