Fuck the very idea of buying anything at CVS other than a prescription. Their prices are predatory high.

Postgres is a more robust and better designed and developed product, also it’s not owned by fucking Oracle.
That’s a hard pass for me. I’d imagine the person who makes the decision about hiring you won’t even know if you’ve opted out because the data is gathered at the corporate level. But that’s just my guess.
Like so many others, you’ve mixed up general society with law enforcement. We defend the right for the Nazis to say their piece without being imprisoned. Running a business profiting from letting Nazis publish their speech is a choice, and not a necessary one. Using and supporting the social relevance of a social network that voluntarily publishes hate speech for profit is a choice, and not a necessary one.

Yeah the CVS self checkout software is horrible. The Target version is great.
You transport yourself to the store, walk around the store, pick the items up off the shelf, take them around the store, take them with you to checkout, take them to your car, bring them into your house, and put them away. But moving the item 36 inches from your basket to your bag is something you’re too enfeebled or important to do yourself?
6·7 months agoGoogle sucks, but Apple sucks too. And if you hate them both, Android is the better choice for a smartphone because you can use it with minimal interaction with Google whereas any Apple device firmly has you in the Apple ecosystem.
201·7 months agoI enjoyed Twitter for a long time when it was smaller and ad free and didn’t suck, and now I’m enjoying Bluesky while it’s smaller and ad free and doesn’t suck.
It’s unlikely Bluesky could ever suck as much as Twitter and Reddit have come to suck, but if I have to leave Bluesky in a few years for the next one, then so be it.
Fuck off with this unhinged, unsupported rant. Prove it or stop posting it.
