      This seems to me like you’re describing religious leaders as a whole.

      The drive to climb up any church hierarchy doesn’t come from religious fervour. It comes from the lust for power.

      So… the most famous religious person I’ve heard of?

      Famous people and following a religion don’t mix and never will. But those are who run most Americans mega churches now. Religion is dead.
