All anyone cares about is the connector when it comes to charging, which is what the whole EU thing is about. So it would solve for that, while providing significantly faster transfer speeds if a Thunderbolt cable is used and it’s plugged into Thunderbolt on the other end. This is why Apple puts Thunderbolt ports on their laptops instead of just USB.
No offense, but I think there’s a gap in your knowledge. I’d love to fill it in, but to be honest, I don’t quite know where it is, so I’m going to go back to watching Godzilla, and I wish you a good night.
It wasn’t a crazy guess, at least for the Pro, considering the first announcement of Thunderbolt was at an Apple event and it was a joint development between Intel and Apple, if I remember correctly.
It is a purely logical conclusion if Apple actually wanted to make this feature good like the rest of its competitors who have been giving usb 3.0 on their phones for more than a decade already. But Apple needs to milk us for more iCloud revenue, so this probably never will happen.
So… Thunderbolt 5 on the iPhone 15? The timing can’t be an accident, right?
Not everything is a conspiracy, my guy

It’s better, while still being compatible.
USB-C is just the connector, fam, you’re comparing apples to oranges

It’s just a value add, while taking nothing away.

Why don’t you try, because I really don’t understand all these downvotes.
I hope you enjoyed the movie.
Lol, the iPhone 15 will get USB 2.0 like the rest of them.
